The Reliant Core Duo from AR Engineering sets the new standard in powerful, yet efficient marine computers. It features fanless design, Dual monitor/TV support, the speed of an Intel Core Duo processor, and efficiency; both in power use and space.

All of AR Engineering's computers feature SeaSafe marinization, a hardening process that consists of vibration dampening, and a corrosion control process using VCI’s (vapor corrosion inhibitors) and conformal circuit board coating.

This fanless design takes corrosion control one step further by limiting the airflow through the unit. The uncirculated air is warmed by the internal components, resulting in a very dry environment, regardless of outside humidity.

This very quiet design eliminate failures from fans, and from the buildup of internal moisture and dust, resulting in a extremely reliable marine computer.

Frankly, this is an amazing computer. It is extremely rugged and reliable, uses very little power, and supports two monitors, (or a monitor and a TV). Its fast, and makes virtually no noise.  The case is so strong you can stand on it, and is quite small. The included mounting bracket lets you install it in any position. It has a startup delay so engine cranking won't spike it, and remote power-up and shutdown. The forgiving voltage input range allows for operation with smart alternator regulators. There's nothing else even close.
