Radiant LED Marine Monitors
These high performance boat displays are engineered to survive the most
demanding conditions. Housed in a billet aluminum case, these slim profile
marine monitors are light weight and very energy efficient. The high bright LED
back lights combined with passive optical enhancements allow for excellent
contrast and clarity in both daylight and direct sun. All our Radiant displays
have a waterproof front bezel sealed to IP65 or better.
This series of rugged marine displays offers
a variety of sizes
from 8.4 to 24". The 17" and 21.5" models are essentially the same
height, allowing a matching installation on a narrower helm.
They represent an outstanding value in marine
monitors.

A "Sunlight
Readable" LCD is a screen which can be viewed in
direct sunlight. Its brightness should be 1000 nits
(or cd/m²). Radiant series monitors present a
bright picture with brilliant color and high contrast to
assist you at sea.
Low Power Consumption and a Wide
Temperature Range
| Radiant
monitors use LED's for many reasons. LED backlit panels
have important advantages, such as a wide
temperature range (-20 ~ 60 °C) and low
power consumption, resulting in an extended operational
life. (up to 70K hours). In
addition no mercury is present in the display. |

The IEC (International
Electro-Technical
Commission) 60529 Standards document specifies
an international classification system for rating enclosures
for electrical
equipment against the intrusion of foreign bodies and moisture.
|
The first digit of
the IP code indicates the degree that persons are
protected against contact with moving parts (other than
smooth rotating shafts, etc.) and the degree that
equipment is protected against solid foreign bodies
intruding into an enclosure. Second digit indicates the
degree of protection against the harmful entry of various forms of moisture
(e.g. dripping, spraying, submersion, etc.).
IP65 means Dust-tight and Protected against
low-pressure water jets from all directions. This is the
rating of all models when panel mounted, except the
Radiant 8.
The Radiant 8 is
IP68, Briefly Submersible, and suitable for the wettest
environments, such as a binnacle.
Wide
Dimming Range
Wide Dimming technology provides a wide adjustment range
to meet a variety of conditions. Using the user-friendly
brightness knob, you can adjust the brightness from 0% to
100%.
By combining a
sunlight readable, LED backlight with a wide dimming
range, Radiant monitors offer crisp images with
excellent contrast in all lighting conditions.
| Optical
Bonding
To
enhance contrast and to reduce refection, Radiant
displays use optical bonding to overcome many
viewing problems. The exclusive glass to LCD
bonding process results in reduced reflections. In
addition, this technology eliminates fogging and
strengthens the LCD panel.

AR Safety Glass
Using special anti-reflective (AR)
coatings, these panels look great. Anti-reflective coating
is applied to the surface of the glass to reduce
reflections. This improves the brightness of the display. The reduction in
reflection
also improves the contrast of the image by elimination of
stray light.
9-36 V DC Input
Vessels have DC
voltage drops (as in engine cranking) and spikes (smart
voltage regulators and device shutdowns) Radiant monitors
have a wide input voltage range to protect them. AC
adapters are optional
